Common Signs that Giardia is present:
Giardia infection in dogs may lead to weight loss
Chronic intermittent diarrhoea
Fatty stool
The stool may range from soft to watery
Infected dogs tend to have excess mucus in the faeces
Vomiting may occur in some cases
It is important to note that not every dog & cat will show all the clinical signs of Giardia.

A-PET-CARE Giardia test for dogs and cats is an antigen test and is based on sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The test device has a testing window.
The testing window has an invisible T (Ölçek) bölge ve C (kontrol) alan. When sample is applied into the sample hole on the device, the liquid will laterally flow on the surface of the test strip.
If there is enough Giardia antigen in the sample, a visible T band will appear.
The C band should always appear after a sample is applied, geçerli bir sonuç belirten. Meaning, the testing device can accurately indicate the presence of Giardia antigen in the sample.
